Does TEMPO use batteries or a charger?
TEMPO comes with rechargeable batteries and a micro-USB slot for recharging. TEMPO also ships with a charger and standard micro-USB charging cord, and charges fully in just a few hours.
Why is TEMPO a wristband vs. an Apple Watch app?
We experimented with that idea, but here’s what we found: The vibration on the Apple Watch wasn’t strong enough to guide you through the rhythm of an entire swing You couldn’t start the countdown without ungripping your club and turning your wrist TEMPO’s simple on/off/start swing functions were much easier for golfers than accessing an app A bonus is that we’re able to add flashing LEDs on the side of TEMPO — you can feel the vibration and see the lights flash in sync so it’s very easy to follow the countdown So, instead of an app, we’ve honed TEMPO into a sleek, simple wristband that does the absolute best job of making it easy to swing like a pro.
Will my TEMPO distract other golfers?
No. Only you feel the vibrations and see the LED lights. TEMPO doesn’t emit sounds. It’s just like wearing a FitBit or watch. Using TEMPO can be as discreet as you want it to be.
How long should my TEMPO last?
TEMPO is built with quality materials designed to last a lifetime. TEMPO is built to withstand daily use as you hone your golf swing, and comes with a 30-day warranty.

Why Won’t TEMPO Turn On or Off?
- This may occur when power is low. To fix this, simply recharge TEMPO.
- This may also be due to an incomplete power button press. When a TEMPO band is produced, there is a break-in period as the 3-d Ninjaflex settles around the power button. Because of this, you may need to press the button down more firmly than you would expect to fully engage and disengage the power button.
